not ignoring you
ok - good news and bad news
good news first:
the last 6 base units are now finished at the powder coaters - they will begin shipping on tuesday in groups of 2 or 3 (that's all that will fit in the truck at one time without damage)
the remaining couple of race units will be right behind them by a couple of days
those of you who have not yet done so, you need to fax back your signed release form before we can ship - if you lost it, let me know - i'll send you another one
now the bad news:
there are no plans to do a second run at this time - this has been so much fun for me, that i haven't decided if i am going to license out the design again yet, mostly because i haven't figured out how not to have to be so personally involved in the process
also, we have not yet set the new price - if we do a second run, the price will have to reflect the increased amount of work to fabricate, above and beyond what was initially thought, though we stuck to the price commitment of those units anyway
so far, there are only a couple of people who have indicated any real interest - not enough to consider making a run - we need 10 to get going
not to say i told you so, or be a jerk, but back at the time of the first run, i cautioned to get in at that time, and avoid potentially being in a holding pattern indefinitely - a couple of people held back - unfortunately, exactly what i was afraid of happening is becoming the reality
sorry - get 10 people together and committed, and then get ahold of me, and we will revisit this
