WTB - Dynatech Strut Bar
#1

As the title says. I'm on a waiting list for one from Dynatech but would like one sooner rather than later. So if you have a bar that you want to sell let me know. I'll gladly pay $450 for one. Thanks.

Edit: Unless of course someone has a lead on one of those fancy factory carbon fibre bars........ <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Unfortunately Scott decided not to make his strut bars anymore. I was on the same list.

There are several others out there (KLA, Racers Edge), but I have heard some problems with fitment and rubbing on the vanity cover.

Regards,

Jay

The KLA Bar is a very nice piece, but it will rub on the Vanity Cover ever so slightly. I use a piece of high density foam Plastic between it and the Cover to keep the issue to a minimum. Just squeeze it between the two pieces and friction holds it in place and keeps the two just a millimeter apart.

Might be able to adjust the mounting holes on the end brackets to eliminate this; just haven't got to it yet! It would only take a fraction of an inch to clear the Bar.

My answer to the slight rubbing on the vanity cover - which definitely occurs on my car with the KLA strut tower brace - is "so what?"

My KLA brace does not rub on my vanity cover becasue my cover is sitting on the shelf in the garage. It did rub, so I took it off. Who needs the weight of the cover anyway. Does it serve any function except for vanity?

you can buy yourself 5 - 10 mm clearance while improving your handling if you buy ultramounts. they come with spacers to set your motor at stock height, -5mm, and -10mm.
