The car in the first picture may not be the car in the 2nd & 3rd. 1st car has 993 litronic headlights & the fenders dont seem to buldge like in the other pics.

They are 2 different cars for sure. Also car number 1 has ITB set up.

ah - so, it's a turbo - that explains the itb setup - cool

i also noticed that the 993 lights stick up above the fender like the other similar installation i've seen

For me, the 993 lights would be just fine. I'm going to take a photo to the shop that's doing my paint and other work and get them thinking about this conversion.

if you saw it in person, you might not think so - it's hard to see in the shots, but when you are standing in front of it, they stand up about a half inch above the fender

see if you can get a good look at the purple car - very nice job they did, but i can't get over the mismatch of the body line - but, stuff like that bugs me more than other people so................

My current headlights lie a little below the body line when they're down, and they stick up WAY above the body line when they're up. How can't a 1/2 inch above the fender be better?

Flash, how do you figure the car is a turbo? Looks like N/A to me.

Arktech are the only guys that did the 993 litronic light conversion right.....

& that car is Naturally Aspirated. They claim 340HP. Will have to email them and inquire about their itb set up.

That last picture, are they piping the exhaust system THROUGH the car? That's an unorthodox setup O_O

lol - i read the link - 968turbo.de

besides, if they have a real 340 out of it, you can bet it's turbocharged - remember, the original turbo was only 305 and the RS was only 350

if it walks like a duck............right?

Check the pics in the link, that car is def. naturally aspirated.

340Hp may be a little far fetched, but its plausible imo. ITB's, Big Cams...think 290 on the intake side.....high compression & lots of head work, header, no cat...

I dont know how much work went into this car, but i do know that big bore kits & stroker kits also exist for the 3.0L...so who knows whats been done to this race car.

I'm going to e-mail them and ask whats been done to the car to validate their 340HP claim. I'm also very curious about their ITB set-up.

The 968 Turbo's really werent tuned to make big power from the factory. They have so much more potential.
