After disconnecting the assembly from the dash, disconnecting the 3 ribbons and the entire cluster is now ready to come out (after that I suggest coming indoors to a well lit area). Remove several screws along the back of the cluster, that will allow the gauges to separate from the housing. Now you have 4 opening to reach through and clean the inside of the cluster window.
Its really simple, just take your time and pay attention when disconnecting the ribbons.
Hope this helps

I have the same problem with my gauges plastic cover are very scratched and clouded. Would it be the same procedure to change to a new clear plastic cover? Thanks so much
