Water leaking near door hinges

I had a similar problem with my Volvo years ago. It was the rocker panels and they were filled with water because the drains which exited out the back were clogged. I drilled some additional holes and they drained just fine after that.

Thanks, that was one of the places to check ( next on my list ) , just did not get a chance to get all the way under to inspect the condition of the drainage holes.

believe it or not, the heater path goes through the door.  the water may be coming in from the heater inlet under the hood, and water finding its way into the ducting.  check to see that the area under the plastic panel is free of debris, and that the drain hole is clear.  you will have to lift the rubber gasket and then lift the plastic panel.
