Water in battery & relais tray
#1

After washing the 968, I noticed that there is water under the battery and relais box.

I think the drain holes are full off leafs, dust and other nasty stuff.

- Where are these holes located? Should i take out the battery and relais box?

- How to clean?

- Where exactly does the water leave the car? Can't seem to find any hose ... Should be near the back of the front fender

Thank you

So there are water drains from the sun roof area that end in the battery and relay tray so if water is coming in that means they aren't clogged, a good thing. Also water can get there during washing as you noticed. If it is "standing" then you have a clog on the "exit" drain. There are drain points in both sides that let the water exit. Under the battery and relay box.so if water is pooling up there that means they are clogged, not a good thing. Start with removing the battery and you should see where the drain is clogged, its between the battery tray and the inside fender wall. Not a hose but an opening. Check for leaves, etc, maybe air hose to blow out. Water should not stand in that area.
