yeah - i'm finishing up the instructions today, and the last part will arrive tuesday.

now that i have a new tool, and it might give me an opportunity to improve something, i am just trying to decide if i want to double check the tuning one more time, to see if there is anything better i can do. i'm really happy with the way the kit drives, but if there is anything i can do to make it better before shipping, i don't want to miss that chance. the problem is having a local car on which to do that. i'm going to give scheduling with a local kit owner one more shot, and then call it a day.

ok - the date is set. we recheck the tuning on friday. it's really the part throttle stuff i'm messing with, though i will look at a clean up of the WOT table to see if there is anything to be done there.

kits will then ship the following monday.

Flash,

Thanks for the reminder email for Stage 2 kit.

Yes, I'd like one, but don't think Design 1 web site is taking 2nd batch orders (says "Out-of-stock").

Will it be changed soon?

Thanks for the timeline. Looks like time it's about time to pull the injectors and get them on their way out.

Generally, always a good idea to take a second look with fresh eyes (new tool) before finalizing.

ran into a little hiccup today.

i sent my injectors out to be cleaned, so that i could put them in bva's car, and have a perfect setup. got everything installed, and it seems that there is something in one of them or something. they aren't behaving quite right.

on top of that, the file i was working with got corrupted.

by the time i figured all of this out, i had to get him running and buttoned up so he could make the 3 hour return trek.

so, i have to do this all over again next weekend.

sorry for the delay guys.

the good news is that i will have an announcement to make shortly that will excite some people.

Oooo, if it's clean underwear and a $2.00 lottery scratcher I'm in! Sorry, doesn't take much to warm me up <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/rolleyes.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/laugh.png" class="smilie" alt="" />

ok - it looks like the injectors straightened themselves out on the drive home. they probably had something stuck in there that was making them act oddly when the rpms dropped to idle (wouldn't stall, but just dropped for a second too far).

bva is going to check one more thing for me, just to make sure there isn't a different problem, and then the mechanical part is done.

today i'll re-write the file, and be ready for the 8th, when we are set to do this again. arrrrgh - i hate waiting.

ordering for stage 2 batch 2 will close out the morning of the 14th

remember that stage 2 is needed for stage 3, so if you plan to go to stage 3, you need to get your stage 2 order in by then
