Rear luggage cover
#1

I removed the rear luggage cover and thought it snapped off and I could just throw it in the washing machine, but it appears permanently attached. What is the best way to clean this item?

Thanks, Steve

Probably just as well you didn't wash the thing: I'm sure it would have shrunk.

I use aerosol upholstery cleaner, available in grocery and hardware stores. The cans have a plastic scrub brush incorporated into their tops. Works like a charm.

I took a stiff brush to mine and then just flipped it over. The seam now shows but the faded side is out of site. Now it is good for another 11 years.
