The power lock button by the gear shifter doesn't lock or unlock the passenger door. It worked when I first go tthe car, but at some point stopped.

I dont think its the button, because the door won't unlock/lock when I unlock/lock the drivers door either with the key. Any ideas?

Pull the door panel and check the actuator.
A good used one is about $25.

Does the lock work with a key?

If I lock the passenger side with the key both doors lock. If I try to lock from drivers side, only the drivers side locks. Basically the door is manually operation only right now.

I'm looking into the "lock clip". I saw it from another post.

Hi guys, I have a repeat problem with passenger side door lock. It wont unlock. Happined once before and then got better. The central lock light stays red after repeated lock/unlock cycles but the passenger side lock stays locked. My wife said if this had happined on the first date, there might not have been a second one.

The driver side door lock works locks/unlocks from the driver side. I guess I will pull the passenger door panel and take a look. Any other info on the forum?
