i'll be talking to the fiberglass guy again this morning and will see where we are on the rework.
i've been watching the project on the "other site". all the nice fabrication work and all aside, i am surprised that nobody has noted, or at least has not commented on, the fact that the entire project missed the mark from a functional standpoint, as the headlights are rotated about 10 degrees. this would make the beam pattern all wrong. lol - it does help to keep the fender profile down though. it would also help with reading street signs as you pass them.
this is exactly what is the primary problem with fitting these lights. in order to get them in the right spot, and have the beams pointed correctly, the top of the fender need to go up quite a bit, making it look a lot more like a 993 (go figure).
the other issue is the need to hack up the sheet metal behind the lights in order to get the assembly in there at all, but that's a whole different oprah.
