E-brake components
#1

I have replacement pads for the e-brake but find one wheel has lost a number of the components (springs, retainers, retaining plate). I'm having trouble locating these parts. Any suggestions?

Thank you.

I bought all the components from Pelican Parts a while back.

I'm sure DC Auto would have a lot of those parts (used).

do NOT use used parking brake springs. they break easily enough when new. that spring is notorious for popping and causing the brake shoe to jam up against the rotor, making a horrible racket and essentially paralyzing the car.

Flash has a great point! That was exactly the part that snapped on my 968 and caused the rear wheel to lock up at highway speeds! NOT a fun moment!
