So I did kind of an impulsive buy today. I bought some MPM/Promesiter Dot 5.1 brake fluid for really cheap. (You never know, always handy to have a liter of this around)
And today I'm gonan change my rear rotors and pads so I was thinking about doing my brake fluid as well. It's pretty old and I need to bleed my calipers anyway.
According to the autoparts store I went to, this fluid would work perfectly in my car. But I'm really unsure as I've never found any hard confirmation on this anywhere.
It sais it meets these requrements on the bottle:
FMVSS DOT 5.1, SO 4925 Class 6
Anyone have any idea?

That's what I thought.
Now I just have to find the boiling temperature of this stuff.

That's just the minimum requirements isn't it?
