My door handles are loose due to bad gaskets, Anyone know of the best source for a fix? Thanks in advance.

I had the same problem and replacing the gaskets did the trick. I purchased mine from my local dealer. I don't recall the actual price (I purchased several things at once) but I think they were fairly cheap.

If you cut the rear (larger gasket) you won't have to completely remove the door handle. Make the cut on the bottom and it won't be noticable. It took me about 15 minutes.

Good Luck!!

Bart, any tips on doing this?

I'm guessing that the screw on the trailing edge of the door holds the handle in place (#6 on Eric's screenshot). Is this right or did you have to take the door panels off?

If you want to replace the gaskets using the "cut the big one on the bottom" trick, you don't have to remove the door panel. Releasing the handle with the bolt that's in the door edge is all that's needed. While the handle is out of the door, I'd suggest doing everything you can to clean and lubricate the mechanism. These can be stubbornly difficult once they start binding up. As they say, "Don't ask me how I know".
