Clutch Slip
#21

I had it square. This is junk. Can the VW CV joint 8mm XZN be used or is it to long?

If I can get a purchase on it perhaps a vice grip on the head would work. I have new screws to install with.

The tools are VIM but it files like junk. I was able to take off 1/8" in about a minute. I will get the screws out some other way and try to use the driver to tighten and torque only.

If any of you are going to do this job, the 8mm Triple Square from Pep Boys or some other auto parts stores will do just fine. Snap-on and Mac also have a 3/8" drive socket but they don't working on weekends normaly hence the Pep Boy tool.

BTW, if you want a better discussion on this just go to http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread....492#post3178492

Okay so I got it all put back together but now I have no peddle. I bled the line and tryed to adjust the peddle. No luck. I adjusted until the saft left the peddle pivot. Anyone else have this happen?
