Hopefully, this one's an easy diagnosis. When I turn on the windshield wipers, they work fine. When I turn off the windshield wipers, they remain in position wherever that happens to be on the windshield. I've been watching them as they move, and try and turn them off when they've reached their lowest position at the bottom of the windshield. Certainly works, but not a solution I want to maintain.



The <acronym title='previous owner'>PO</acronym> said he replaced the windshield wiper motor/arm assembly, and that they stopped 'parking' properly after that. All the wiring seems to be hooked up correctly with respect to the wiper assembly. Wondering if there's something broken or not hooked up correctly.

There is a constant hot wire that goes to most wiper motors that powers the motor from when you turn it off to when it parks. I would check the harness first and the fuses as well. If there is no constant hot, it might be the switch, or something further upstream that is interrupting the power.
