Has anyone used a high speed polisher to polish their windshield. I am looking at this website and it sounds like exactly what I want to do, as my windshield is rough, unclear from overspray or just wear.

I would try using a clay bar by hand first if you think it is over spray. I did polish one of my old truck's windshield with my porter cable but I can't remember the results.

I have spoken with a couple of glass guys and they all have said that you have to be very careful that you can easily create distortion.

I would not take a shot at doing it on any area that is in direct sight.
