I suspect this could be my problem as well. It is so hard to detect as it disappears right away.

Rub some bar soap on the underside of the drive belt, if the noise goes away, it's the belt. If not, it's the bearings.

I had my alternator rebuilt a couple of years ago as it was just starting to make noise and that turned out to be the source of the problem. Had to put a stethoscope on it when someone turned the engine over to pinpoint the source of the noise. Glad there were no extra bolts lying around, that would have caused me great concern.
