time to start planning the annual Ortega Highway run and bbq
#21

i'm giving serious consideration to having somebody block traffic for us, giving it a chance to get safely ahead, and then they would go away, leaving the road clear for us to have fun

lol - it was suggested to me that i have the denali and trailer out there and practice 3 point turns for a few minutes

i think i have just the candidate for the above mentioned actions - should take care of the offenders and stop traffic at the same time

Dan: I think you and I will be on official back up! Forget the drive!

Seriously though, can't you just come down for Saturday? You could come down Friday night and crash wherever. My place. Flash's place. Get creative!

Thanks Roland.

That's one long loop.

Looking at the date of last years event reminded me
that I was on vacation. I had never seen those photos
or thread.

yeah - we are moving the date up from last year's date to avoid the heat and the end of summer vacations

thanks for the offer, and I probably would have... had it not been for the drive down just one week earlier.. as much as I love to be in this car, two 1,000+ mile trips a week apart - no way !

I'll send you a PM though.. planning to be in SB with the family this July 4th weekend ( without the 968 ) at my best friends' place, and also driving trough on Friday the 24 of July ( with the 968 ) , so if you're in town maybe we can connect for a coffee or a beer on one of those
occasions..
