Hey, I'm new to the forum, and I've got a 968 that was once a bit of a race car.  The previous owner took out the parking brake, but I have all of the pieces (many of them in plastic bags), from the handle back to the shoes.  I haven't been able to find any diagrams or anything to figure out the best way to get them back into the car, other than the parts list.  Do any of you have any "idiot-proof," step-by-step instructions on the best way to put it back in?

 

In answer to the next question, yes, I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to doing much more than changing brakes and standard maintenance on cars, but I'd like to figure it out and get better.  Any suggestions you might have would be very welcomed.

 

In other, less pressing news, I'm also in need of a bit of help getting the horn working again on the Momo wheel that's in there, but I'll leave that for another thread at another time.

Concerning the e-brake, it's pretty hard to explain how to install it, but you could try to give it a go. If you have any specific questions on the way, I would be happy to help.
