Clutch Master Woes - Need advise
#21

Ok, so. Have the master cylinder resolved BUT.....

Now I'm having the same issue with the slave!!!!! Different lengths of the pushrod(s).

The old one is 55mm from the dog ears (facing the pushrod) on the slave cylinder casting to tip of the pushrod.

The new one is 59mm ...

Is it possible this is the same situation as I had for my clutch master; received part for a 944 / no DMF instead of 968?

Or is it possible it's just the old one is slightly "used and tired". I did pull the rod out as far as it would come out (without discombobulating it) and let it rest naturally. Did the same for the new one and let it come to a rest naturally. And that's where I measured, again, 55mm for the old and 59 for the new.

Ideas?

or... Tell me it's okay, it will work and that I'm just freakin' out over nothing.

TIA!
