Well, that wasn't it! I moved the hose out of the way with a cable tie, and still have the noise. I drove around a bit more, and really paid attention. I can feel it very slightly in the steering wheel and throttle, perhaps through the frame. The rumble sounds more like an intermittent close contact, like exhaust or muffler near a frame; like rough metal on heavy metal or metal vibrating on metal. Very low pitch, like if your muffler was just touching the frame. Maybe like a heat shield rattling against the engine or frame as has been mentioned, so I'll check that out today too. Is there a shield or exhaust pipe that would tend to make contact more on a right turn under load, perhaps with the engine pitching slightly? Again, it only does this with the engine under load turning fairly hard right. This is mucho frustrating but doesn't seem too serious right now!
Hey Jay, we know some folks that live in Bucks County as I recall, name of Bamford. He drives a Honda S2000 for fun. Don't suppose you know of them. Beautiful country out there.
