Is a Short Shift available?

correct - it is 1/2" shorter, and fits exactly like OEM - it is nothing more than a replica of OEM, but made with different geometry

Thanks.
I have a gearbox mounted version on one of my cars + its great.
Ive recently bought another car + want the same/similar short throw, seeing as the "older" version is now NLA, i might have to purchase one of these.

I know is an old tread but i'm going to try anyway. I tried to install an old and never used or installed 944racing short shifter I had since 2004-05. The ss that goes at the transmission. Will not engage reverse. I know 944racing sent an instruction sheet on how to modify the hemi joint to fix the interference and solve this issue. Does anyone has this instructions that can post? I though about making the plate 1/4" longer to clear the shaft entrance but sanding the joint is a lot easier. Thanks in advance.

it wasn't the heim joint that got modified. it was the rectangular block. basically you rounded off a corner. i'll see if i still have the instruction sheet. not sure. that was 8 years ago and somebody else did the install.

Got the D1R short shifter on my car last weekend and it feels great! Thanks for all your hard work Bob; a lot of us seem to be benefiting from it.
