am replacing my shifter knob for my tiptronic are there any recomendations for shifters

what about the 996 shifter? any suggestions?

I modified a OEM Boxster Tip shifter to fit - quite easy actually. I cut down the factory shift / shaft (!?!) and used a small set screw when I figured out the actual length I wanted. Almost perfect now.



The OEM handbrake was a different story.... lotsa work! Now I have to install the new OEM carpets I bought for the car. Still need the DS carpet though.



Oh, had the seats redone too. New covers
