I know some other people who have this problem as well: On my car, the trim piece that surrounds the gauges is sagging in the middle, down almost to touching the top edge of the
[ ! ] warning light - see dotted line below. Has a fix been devised for this?

Are you sure it's the plastic trim piece and not the dash itself? When I swapped in my new dash I found that the dash was causing mine to "sag," more like be forced down.

Adam - not sure about pressure from the actual dash. I can push up on the trim piece and it moves up about 1/4" fairly easily, which leads me to believe there's a gap between it and the dash. I'm thinking maybe a good sized piece of sticky-back velcro in there might stick the trim piece back up to the underside of the dash. Guess I'll have to pop the trim piece off and investigate.

I can do the same with mine, able to push it up easily. I have an extra gauge surround/vent piece if you want to swing by with the car and fit it to see if it makes a difference...I know on my old dash there was no sag.

There is a small screw in the center of the plastic trim piece. If missing, it may allow the piece to sag...Just a thought. Luck
