I think this has come up before, but the other day, I was troubleshooting my non-functioning power seat switch, and found that it was nothing but a blown fuse. Doh! So while I had the fuse box open, I decided to check all the other fuses, and found the #11, a 15 amp fuse protecting the cigarette lighter and associated assemblies, was also blown. So I replaced it, and, voila! - the interior temperature gauge now reads in both fahrenheit and celcius! And it switches back and forth between the two. That's true, the fuse box must be checked often and regularly. It's a PITA that the car itself does not have some kind of indicator in the instrument panel when 1 or more fuses have gone... That would be a very handy feature!
