I've spent much time studying all the big brake options for my 968. I've purchased the 322 x 32 discs from 928GTS (didn't want cross-drilled) and am now tossing up between using big red calipers from 993TT or the big black calipers from 928 GTS. The main diff is the big reds use radial bolts and would definitely need an adapter (many have done this), whereas the big blacks use axial bolts (like my non-M030 968).
I would prefer to go with the big blacks (for compatibility with discs) but I can't find info on whether this will work, e.g. will the big black calipers bolt straight on to my non-M030 hubs? if not will it be possible to make an adapter? I'm concerned an axial-to-axial adapter may not be feasible.
Any advise appreciated... thanks

I with Eric on this one you will still need the adaptor on the non M030 hub. Call Jason or Skip at Paragon Products (Banner on right side) they should be able to give you a competitive price on all of the parts needed. Also I would install the 928 Brake Bias to even out the system. They can get this part for you too.

Something doesn’t add up. Just to be clear I’m choosing between following calipers:
993 351 425 10 / 993 351 426 10 (I think these are big reds)
928 351 423 03 / 928 35 1 424 03 (I think these are big blacks)
Based on the graphics in PET (I will try to attach PDF) these calipers are quite different, one bolts to hub axially the other radially.
... I bet the picture in PET is not accurate
Eric
I think that must be the problem. I have the 928 GTS discs already and they are not slotted, despite the PET graphic. Hmmm, can I trust PET? Now I wonder how often there are errors in it?
So, the fact is both big reds and big blacks are the same and bolted radially.
thanks all...!
