Why not just turn the ignition switch on, it will power up the fuel pump and you can get a pressure reading at the schrader valve. Or put the gauge on and start the engine, you may or may not have to remove the vacuum hose from the pressure regulator, check it both ways.

Well, I know the emergency jumper is 87, 87b and 30 when the DME fails. But for your purpose I think it would be different. There's some more info here (including schematics) that might be of help: Clark's

ok - i remembeered that pete said 87 and 30, and i was in the car at the time and didn't take notes, so i think we're close

i was looking at the relay itself and i have pins 1-9 - my tired old eyes couldn't even read the tiny little numbers on the fuse box - really had to strain - feel like i'm getting very old

thanks

I think you are supposed to put the relay on the ground and literally jump it. I could be wrong. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

I usually just start the car and let it idle.

yeah - did that too - wanted to check both specs though - working on nailing the perfect a/f mixture - turns out that this software is very susceptable to slight changes, and since i monkeyed around with the pressure so much trying to diagnose a different problem, it was time to really nail it
