Anybody have that article out of Excellence on replacing the front control arm bushing?
The PO of my car had a new control arm and castor block installed on the passenger side of the car at 60k. I have a little over 80 on the clock now and thought I would freshen the drivers side, so I dropped the control arm the other day. I am wondering the best way to remove the bushing in the arm now??
Paragon has a new two-section bushing to go back in, but I though if I could get my hands on that article it would help.
Thanks

I have it but I won't be able to scan/post it until I get back to work tomorrow. It is the September of 2004 issue #131, just in case someone else can help you sooner.

#131 is for replacing the Caster Block and not the front bushing that is built into the arm. This was done on a 944S2 in the last year or two in Excellence. I think Pasha was the author. Thanks

#155 (May '07) has an article on Poly-graphite suspension bushings, but I don't remember which model it was applied to. Other than that there is #111 (June '02) 944 Sport Suspension Install, #101 (May '01) 944 S2 Suspension Upgrades, and #61 (May '96) 944 Body and Front Control Arms. I think that #155 is the one your looking for. I'll check it when I get back home.

Issue #155 was about a 914. He and I checked several different articles in several issues and never found the one he was referencing.

Tom, any idea what the part # was on the new bushing or where they got them?
PET does not have the part as available. Got to buy the arm.
