Clutch kits
#1

Do not know if my clutch needs doing, will do the hydraulics first, but as it has 100K miles on original clutch, will look into doing the clutch as well. Have seen Sachs and LUK kits available (disc, pressure plate and release bearing), the LUK being a lot cheaper than Sachs. I believe Sachs were OEM, anybody know if LUK is OK (I know they did DMF's)?

over here at least, the original pressure rating for the pressure plate has been superceded by porsche with a stiffer sachs unit that can contribute to failed firewall issues - the correct one is significantly more expensive, and much harder to find
