Black Brakes and Crossed Drilled Rotors FS
#1

Hi all,

I have recently removed these Black Brakes and Crossed Drilled rotors from my rebuild project. These are mecanically perfect and cosmetically 6-7/10. They can easily be touch up painted to bring them up to 10/10, but at the low price of $1000.00 they are a great deal. Plenty of pad and rotor thichness t go many more miles. They will go up on eBay if no takers here.

Ragards,

Miles

Also for sale: stock front and rear sway bars, Blue partial leather seats both 4way power,Hatch glass

Hey Miles,

Are they M030 rotors? If so, how new are they?

Thanks,

Graham.

I STILL can't see pictures posted here. Sheeeeeeeeit.

I made the mistake of returning to the 968 online world to solve a brake problem and I'm wading through 47 968 forums trying to figure out the egos and politics. Trying to remember which forum was highjacked, which one has major bugs that go unfixed, which one I can't read because the type's reversed, who hangs out where; who's talking to who...

I'll tell you one thing: five years ago this was a much simpler, pleasanter experience.

It's not really the browser but yes, if you use other than IE it wont show the pics. You can download them to your PC then open them with another app (IE, Paintshop....)

Good Morning MIles,

Going to Big Reds?

If so, consider the option of the aluminum hats to save some extra weight. I did this after I had the original setup and it's much lighter...with less heat transfer, too.

Hi Jason,

I have transferred the Big Reds, standard steel hats, parking brakes, rear sway bar, Koni shocks and struts with 200# springs,Front sway bar and 993 turbo front big reds. I still have many thing left to transfer for my old car to the Rebuild Project. I hope to have it to the Mechanic for engine, computer, exhaust, et. by January.

Regards,

Miles

Miles,

Best of luck and I hope you make your timetable.

But considering where you live, it might be OK if it's a little later. I imagine that it won't be driven much in the winter anyway!

Best,

Jason

ps the nose and hood were removed for better access/engine removal. These parts will also get to the body shop for NACA duct install and enlargement of the nose opening

Did you have to get adapters to fit the big reds on the car? Or do they bolt on? My 968 has the M030 package and I am looking at doing the big red conversion.

Big Reds will bolt directly on M030 spindles.
