5/33 Bias Valve with base brakes

I think a few of you are running the 5/33 bias valve with the stock base brakes (not M030). How does this feel and handle for street use? With so much rubber, I can barely kick on the ABS anymore, so I think the rear will have no issues with more pressure.

Any experiences would be great.

This will also be run with a stiffer suspension.

I changed the bias valve when I stiffened the suspension and added aggressive brake pads (PFC97s). When the suspension is stiffer, there is less weight transfer to the front and hence the rear take more pressure. This causes the fronts to lock earlier and the rears to be less effective, hence the benefit of the 33/5 proportioning valve in adding more braking to the rear. I never get rear lock up before front in this config, and that is with road tyres, r spec tyres or Hoosiers.

I use this setup. On the street, no issues. On the track when it's wet or greasy, I occasionally have to slightly countersteer on heavy braking, but I've never felt in danger of the rear coming around. It's a good balance for trail braking.

I have the 5/33 and I am very pleased with how my brakes work. I used to have stock front brakes with race pads and with that setup I found the car to be a tad too quick in cold/wet weather. Now I have S4 brakes up front (aka M030) with race pads and the balance is perfect, especially if I set the rear wing up a notch or two when wet.
It is not only a matter of heavy springing in order to minimize pitch during braking so as to gain the most from this mod. The geometry of the rear suspension gives that a rear biased braking actually reduces pitch thus reducing weight transfer. It's kind of a win-win situation.
I was thinking about going for a 5/45 valve but I'm glad I didn't as I thing it would have been too much.

have it - love it - however, my suspension is tuned for it, and i have much larger tires up front - between the stiffer springs and larger patch, i get no lockup at all - i have yet to have one end to lock up before the other unless i go out of my way to force it
