Brake Rotor rotation direction
#1

I recently purchased an only slightly used pair of German-made drilled front brake rotors. They are in excellent condition and appear to have only very minor identical wear. But. Both rotors are identical, and when mounted the drilled pattern will be positioned turning in opposite directions. Perhaps this was why they were available very inexpensively from a reliable eBay merchant. Is there any problem with this situation? I haven't mounted them, but I have a new set of PBR brake pads on hand.

That's normal. Most rotors go through only a few aftermarket drilling locations and to make the set up easier, they drill the same pattern. I have drilled Zimmerman's and discussed this same thing with the drilling company. The more expensive two piece rotors will be directional.

Mighty glad to hear that. The drilled rotors I had seen advertised, probably in Excellence, were high end ones and were different from side to side. I'll give these a try. Thanks for the help.
