I'll know by the end of the week.

While browsing the aisle of my local Whole Foods market I noticed

they are selling Tobin James wine. The wine clerk said they are

selling. That's good news.

hey tom - good to se you - hope you make it again

rap - i think we had 13 last year. i'm guessing we'll have between 12 and 15 this year. that's only half the story though. a good half of those cars are usually couples, so the group is a pretty good size. we try to tailor this so that the wives and significant others don't get bored.

I don't know why I keep reading this thread. Jealousy sets in. Hope we can get something like this going for the Carolinas. Have fun, guys!

Yee-haw! The weekend works out for me. I'm one of those NorCal slackers. Last attended in May '09 when it was 115 degrees in the shade and Dan decided to get an engine rebuild on the way home after the event (...well, not quite a planned event). Luckily we went home via the coastal route, so I missed the fireworks, but he got certainly got my sympathy afterwards.

Wifey and I will leave early Friday and overnight in Carmel or thereabouts (any suggestions?), depending on weather. See you there.

Awesome Mark ! Good to hear.

Sean ( white coupe ) who will return one week before the Paso gtg, MIGHT, just MIGHT, join in , if he can start his car and not have fuel issues along the way, after an eight month mothball rest.

Fingers crossed !

And Trevor, come on dude.. we need you and that spectacular riviera blue coupe in the mix. We can always do the " inferior Porsches " runs with our buddies locally. :-) And by inferior I mean 959s , CGTs, GT2 or 3s, any 911-derivatives, etc.. lol

Made the car rental arrangements today! Any suggestions for a place to stay in Santa Barbara? We will be there the first two days just checking it out before we meet up with the group on Saturday.

Just looked at the date. Back end of our road trip. Front end is detail day. So i'll miss both. Arghhhhh ....... Maybe we can reroute and join for the Sunday events. Both the car and the occupants will be pretty grody by then.

I need to put the san diego fun run back on the calendar.
