let me look around and see what the best solution to this is. since i want to do at least 2 different models, it may be best to buy one, rather than hire a service. i have to make sure the file type is correct though, based on what the people who make the model need.

I know you've been " a little busy " lately , lol, so probably no time to do anything yet on this, but how about further thoughts re a solution, and based on everything so far, a guess on the probability of continuing this endeavor ?

lol - i was actually thinking about this over the weekend. i have to buy a 3D scanner. i just haven't had the time to shop for the right one. it really put the brakes on the project. i have a couple of other projects that have now slipped in front of it. when i get those done, i can look into this again.
