yup - ayn is like that too - she won't drive an auto - special ordered the 325 with a manual and waited 3 months for it - then the M3 had to be black and not silver, blue, red or any other color they had, and had to be a real 6 spd and not a paddle shift

Jay,
Pretty rare, 9 968 cabs produced with a black top and the marble gray/black interior (7 with partial leather, 2 with the leather seats). I don't have the deviating carpet data but you can only get rarer from 9.

Well, that is a question I had to look to the raw data for. The answer:

3 tips (2 94.5s, 1 95)
6 6 spds (3 94.5s, 3 95s)

All polar silver, black top, marble gray/black interior. (marble gray/black is a 94.5-95 only option)

Nice looking car! But again the data is inacurate...this 968 has a 6 cylinder I guess this just proves how little people know about these cars.

HA, I noticed that to. I was curious if this car had LSD. but judging by the sellers ridiculous list of "<i>options</i>" who knows? Didn't even mention the drilled rotors.

Great Option list:
Gauge Cluster
Trip Odometer
Tachometer
Console
Carpeting
Day/Night Lever

PM me if interested.

I would not expect much Porsche knowledge from a used car dealer.
But looks decent none the less.

Jeff, is LSD somewhat rare for a cab??

Of the 1,447 6 speed cabs, 300 (20.73%) had LSD.

yeah - working on that - definitely going to figure it out soon - this stuff needs to be up here, and soon - we have so many new members, and have effectively become the only real resource for info on these cars - that's a good thing, but it also means that we need to fill in the blanks - i have a lot of stuff just about to go up, but jeff has the production info ready on the cabs, and is working on the hardtops, and i would hate to have to duplicate the efforts when he has already done the work - i was offered this stuff a while back, but it looked like too daunting of a task, given everything else i was doing at the time - i'm not thrilled about the prospect of doing it even now - we have already seen way too much good stuff disappear from other sites over the years into the virtual wind - that's one of the reasons this site has multiple owners, rather than just one person - i've spent lot of time recovering a lot of it, and post it bit by bit as i make it ready - it is a time consuming process - this info would be a great and welcome addition

Let me try: Jeff, where's the remote for my DVR?
