On the look out to recover a wrecked Cab
#1

As the title says, I'm starting to look around now.  Purchase is not imminent, but if the right deal comes along, well...color is unimportant.

Looking specifically for a Cab that can serve as a donor car for a future project.  Ideally, this would be a roller.

yes a cab is not a coupe nor a coupe a cab, but the major parts I would guess are the same. engine trans, real axle, switches etc. .just the roof is different as is the trunk.

Ink, two words, "inside voice"! God forbid u wreck it. The insurance co. could find your post, deny the claim and charge you with insurance fraud. Those bastards always look for an out. LMAO!!!

At any rate it's for sale. Why buy a wrecked one when you can have one done. The money is the same and you don't have to wait 3 years to drive it.

I found a Coupe roller in Az for $4K - if anyone's interested.  Looks to be in good shape - needs Moter, TT, Trans to make it a runner.

Looking for the Cab as I want to rebuild it for a specific purpose in mind - and being the cheap ba$tard that I am, I want it at the wrecked car price.

ok - i'll bite.  what's the project?  i'm guessing one of two things.

ultimate track 968, with a lower drag coefficient (no windshield, yada yada), and lower center of gravity

mule for building a removable hard top

either way - cool!  have fun
