There is only one Riviera Blue Cab in the US and that person is not a member of this forum.

I have a high-mileage (181kmiles) Cobalt Blue Cab (manual) that I can be convinced to get rid of -- fleet-reduction as a result of getting a new CFO (aka new wife...). The vehicle is located in NorCal.

Send me PM if interested.

I've seen Jarrod's Cobalt Blue Coupe; and it is simply fan-freaking-tastic!!!!

If you must have Cobalt Blue, Jarrod's 968 is "the one." Keep in mind, there aren't a lot of 968s to pick from; and like me, you're searching only for true concour examples. As such, you've really narrowed the field to a select few 968s to pick from!

Jarrod looked at a lot of very nice 968s before selecting his Cobalt Blue Coupe (and later, his 92 Guards Red Cab). Both 968s are truly spectacular.

I'm on my fourth M030 Coupe (all with under 30,000 miles, no paintwork and bone stock). I just got a terrific RS America and may let my current late 94 M030 go.

Soooo, if you want Cobalt Blue, you've got Jarrod's Coupe.

If you want a Cab, you've got Jarrod's Cab; and if you want a true M030, you could opt for my Guards Red example.

The world is your oyster.

I am ready to clear some space in the garage. I have a 94 iris Blue Cab over Gray Leather interior, 6 speed. It is located on Long Island. It has just over 100,000 k. I just got into motorcycling and haven't really been using the car at all. PM me if interested.

Jeff,

If I recall, all of the Riviera Blue Cabs have black interior. Therefore my Polar Silver with deviating Light Gray and Black interior (1 of 2) is more rare???

lol - no worries - there have been quite a few revived lately - i think this is due to the "encyclopedic layout" of the site - new members are cruising around and finding stuff

i think i have seen 3 different interiors on the riviera blue cabs - there are 2 anyway, but i think it was 3 - one black, one classic grey, and one lighter - no idea if they were original or not - i've seen a quite a few cars with changed color schemes - i wouldn't be surprised if they were mostly tips either - i can't really remember - lol - that "90 miata blue" color is so heinous and plastic looking to me (it was a girly color anyway) that i pretty much blocked it out of my mind

Jay, Bob,

The Riviera cabs break out as follows:

1 black top and interior
2 black top and marble gray (lighter gray)/black interior
1 dark blue top and marble gray/black interior
1 dark blue top and midnight blue interior

All 5 of them are 6 speeds.

Jay, what year is your car and what color top?

What was the interior and transmission on the maritime blue cab? Boy would I like to get a hold of that one!

interesting - i could swear one had classic grey, or at least the seats - maybe they changed them - i knew i wasn't nuts though, and that there was more than 1

also interesting that they are all 6 spds - i would have expected tips, as that is a popular color with the girls - i know porsche did a lot of marketing research on colors over the years (i have some stuff on that around here somewhere) and they determined that that was one of the colors that appealed to women more than men - consequently i would have expected tips, as those also appealed more to the women than men

always interesting to see the deviations from expectations

The first new car my wife (then friend) bought for herself was a black Honda Accord. She didn't want an auto so she had the dealership search for a manual trans car in black exterior. They found one and she bought it. Sometimes marketing research misses the mark...
