Wanted any year 968 must be automatic coupe
#1

Looking for a unique color exterior coupe must be tip, like black interior but any color considered. Low mileage and service records a plus! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/EmoticonCar.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Tips are rarer to begin with so you get into lots of smaller prod numbers when you factor in color. For example, they produced 11 F4 horizon coupes with 6 spds but only 1 with a tip.

The good news, tips sell cheaper then 6 spds so you can get a good deal. Too bad you missed the "one and only" riviera blue tip coupe on autotrader last year. Quite a car. It was on the west coast though. What are your favorite colors?

I really love the pink ones. I know it is called some thing else for the color but I have seen 2 in pink -pictures only in Japan and I love them. Unfortuneatly I could not import them with out major problems. I called on the Speed Yellow one you purchased as soon as Pano came but Buirsess or some thing like that name, very nice guy , said he sold it before ad came out. I don't remeber seeing the riviera blue but that soulnds like one I would have loved. I did bid on one on ebay a few month ago it was unique but needed alot of work it was blue with sports seats and alot of options u had written about. Some one out bid me at the end so i lost out on that. I have my midnight blue and love it but it is not rare at all. I have about 50 trophies from it though so u know my big love is concours. Will u be bringing your Speed yellow to Hershey this year? I would love to see it. It goes with out saying if u wanted to sell it just let me know.

Two pinks:

G4 Rubystone Red, this is a solid pink. Offered in 92 and 93, they only produced 92s. 3 total coupes produced, 2 6spds, 1 tip. The tip was a loaded car in Canada, was wrecked and parted. I know where one of the 6spds is located.

A7 Raspberry red, this is a pink metallic, offered in 93 only, 3 coupes produced, 2 tips, 1 6 speed, the 6spd has traded hands and was located out west. Very clean.

Yes, I hope to have both the mint cab and speed yellow coupe at Porsche shows this year including hershey.

Bob could be right. The car was very clean and priced high but worth it if you like the color. I'm posting two photos. One of that Raspberry car and another of a Rubystone coupe euro car. Pick your poison. I like the Rubystone better.

i have seen a couple of rivvy blue ones though. there is a nationalized club sport hiding here in socal. i can't get the guy to bring the car out though. there is also another rivvy blue one too, but not a club sport. no idea if it's grey market or what though. not a tip, as i saw and heard him shift.

I saw the rubystone car on the net so I grabbed the photos. It is such a rare color, I've never actaully seen it in person. Hot968, I'm sorry, I don't remember where it was for sale. If i have the opportunity I may purchase the Ruby car I know about but it is a 6 speed.
