Does anyone know the valve spring compression limits? Page 23 on the spec manual stated 8 bar new and 6.5 bar as the limit. That seemed high to me, so I wasn't sure if that was really for the valve springs.



My valve stem seals were chewed up on cylinder #2, so we measured the valve spring compression and came up with 35 psi, which is really light. This car sat up with very little driving for 5 years. So that could have weakened the valve springs.
