The engine strip on my 968 is going nicely, needed a truck sized air tool for the crank bolt but otherwise no big problems. However the inner timing belt crank pulley pictured is left sitting there laughing at me, its been sat there 25 years and doesnt intend to move anytime soon. No room for any puller that I can think of. Cant see obvious threads in the holes in it. How do people get this thing off? Thanks in advance,
Steve
APOLOGIES to all ..... some hours later Ive sorted this. Id been soaking it in PB and warming, I also found a small pry bar that went some way in behind the pulley and amazingly it moved without too much force. Anyway Ive left the post here to inspire others who may wonder if it needs a puller, seems not to.
