My radio sometimes doesnt turn on when the car starts

it still has power, but it seems like it doesnt know the car is started

It used to happen maybe once every couple of months but now its happening everytime i drive it

sometimes after about 30 minutes it will turn on while driving.

Im figuring its the switched power or something related

has anyone else run into this or know where i can start to look

My approach would be to get access to the trigger wire, say at the back of the head unit, check for continuity? Im admittedly weak at electrical troubleshooting, but taking out the center console is pretty straightforward.

As they said on the old I love lucy show, then "just jiggle it a little" :0)

after doing some more research i found out it could be the ignition switch

but in the end it turned out to be a loose fuse in the fuse box

even after pushing it in more, it still comes loose every once and a while

i will have to see if i can secure it better in there
