Belt replacement is a function of both time and mileage. The most cautious among us would argue that 3 years regardless of mileage is the best insurance. The bravest and boldest would agree that any more than 5 years and 15,000 miles is asking for catastrophic failure.

i think he meant 5 years and 45000 miles. i wouldn't run it 5 years though. been there broke that, and at only 25000 miles
