Taking on water
#1

After driving for 3 hrs in a hard, constant rain, I noticed the driver side carpet was saturated. I found no obvious drips, so have been unable to ID the entry point. There was a small area on the passenger side, also. I am ordering new weatherstrip for both doors. Any other ideas of where to check? I felt like my '94 Coupe was a submarine...

did you notice a harder time defogging the windshield before you noticed water?

there is apparantly a drain tube that lands at the tunnel, and then goes through it, behind the stereo - if that backs up, it's mop time

I had a couple water problems when I bought my coupe. You might gain some insight: Part 1 and Part 2.

Thanks for the input. I did have a terrible time defogging the entire trip. I will attempt to clear all of my drains and change the door seals later.
