I did a fun run with these guys last year and it was FAST. I just recieved an e-mail to join them again for this run on May 2nd. Craig Simonian of Simtec Motorsports has asked me to post his link on our forum. So here you go.

It will start in Santa Clarita and run the mountain roads around here with the destination of Blackbird Air Park in Palmdale. Then you can either jump on the freeway or make the run down Bouquet Canyon to The Big Oaks for a beer and a dog.

More info on the FUN RUN this Sunday


May 2nd in Santa Clarita at 9:30am at
28211 Newhall Ranch Rd. in Santa Clarita, 91355
(look for us in front of the coffee bean)
(LA fitness is easier to spot and located in the same lot)


Quick Easy directions from the south:
You will need to get onto the 5 fwy heading
towards Magic Mountain.
Take the Newhall Ranch Rd. exit (just past Magic Mountain)
Make a Right onto Newhall Ranch Rd. (approx 1.5 mi.)
Make another Right onto Gateway Village into the
parking lot and then make your 1st left into the parking lot
...we will be fairly easy to spot on the left.
(if you pass home depot you've gone too far)

Please be fueled up and ready.

We will hang out there for about 30 min. waiting for everyone to show,
so please dont be late or you may miss us.

The route will take us through the mountains to Palmdale and we'll be stopping at Blackbird Air Park. There are several retired Military Jets on display here. Then we'll drive back through the canyons and stop at a little place called The Big Oaks for beer and burger, or whatever.
