yes i know, i was talking about the <acronym title='wide open throttle'>WOT</acronym> maps in that post, part throttle timing (and fuel) maps will be more tricky to map (also because of lambda regulation )

In mine, and also mentioned in the DME 'chip' swap DIY of 2005, the correct (new) Motronic # is 0 261 203 070.

which is what most of the cars have. almost all of the "weirdos" are in 92s. i've only seen or heard of 2 early 93s so far with anything other than the "070" unit, including ROW. i suspect those 2 were either leftovers, or possibly changed out at some point by an owner.
