I know search is my friend but I didn't find much on this. You would think it would be easier to remove the side mirrors but it seems there is more to it than I expected. Inner door panel is off but I don't see much in the door. No screws revealed when I turn the mirror on it's base. Do I need to remove the glass to get to the connection?

I feel stupid. I saw that little plug but years of dirt made mine look like it was corroded metal. After poking at it I now see it is rubber and it popped right off to reveal the allen bolt. Thanks!
