#1

Hi Folks,

Does anyone have rear bumper removal DIY? The link in the DIY section is dead.

Thanks!

It is simple. If you can wrench you don not need it. 15 minutes and you will have it unscrewed. No diy needed.
Because you can not do anything wrong.

not true, if we are talking about the bumper cover and not the bumper.  you can screw up and remove the screws from the clamping blocks, instead of just loosening them, and have a heck of a time getting them back in there

true if we are talking about the bumper itself.

Or you can undo a frozen nut for the shim that holds the bumper in place, when loosening is enough, but I thought the whole nut had to come off and sheered the stud off...

To clarify, I was referring to the bumper cover. Those clamps were discovered the hard way, prior to your post, flash. The drivers side clamp went back in with luck, but the passenger side clamp required a fish tape, thread, my wife's small hands, and 45min of patience.

So, anybody got that DIY?
