I am not sure I have the right forum but I cannot find any help about the hatch lock brackets. I have the dealer repair volumes yet cannot find any thing on my hatch closing. I want to change the mechanism that holds the hatch back closed in the rear of car. I have taken alot apart so far and see it is alot of little parts. There are ajusting screws that I can see but I want to take the complete thing out and put in new. Thanks for any help

Im not at home right now to confirm if the latches on the 968 are interchangeable on the 944. They should be though AFAIK. Pretty sure its the same part. The hatch itself didnt really change much. Mostly the trim, and spoiler, I know the hatches themselves are interchangeable. Lots of sources for those. Ian will probably have the best rate though. He usually carries them in stock.
