rear hatch switch/wiring
#21

Well done for creating a solution, persistence pays off! There have been many posts about motors not working/fuses blowing etc, so others should benefit from reading through all this. A good end to 2020 ... Who'd have thought?

Figured out the microswitch removal.

Two 4mm Allen/hex wrench pulls out the entire exterior lock into the hatch interior. Switch is “clipped” with a metal clip attached to the lock. Don’t attempt to pull the switch out of the clip without removing the entire lock. Doomed to fail.
