Well, I'm gonna do it and order trim rings, etc and a K&N filter. One question though:
What is the best size hole to drill 2 in or "2.125" (2 1/8). I have seen both in instructions. My concern is that the trim rings will fit properly.
Thanks!!
Bill

I was going to go out and buy a hole saw while waiting for order (local hardware joint going out of business) - I will be ordering rings from 968 Engineering. Do you know what size they sell, or is it whatever is available to them?
Thanks again.

I got an email back from 968 Engineering: 2 1/8 is the current size. Seeing as I am a professional trombonist, and therefore widely recognized in the musical world as lacking higher cognitive functions <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/blink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> , it took me a while to figure out what 2.125 inches was, exactly. Seems to be a hybrid measurement system!

I used the 2.125" hole saw and it was still a tight fit for the rings.
